Crimson Ikat Tunic is Finished. What's next?

Hi folks, here I go again posting a short note. Almost three weeks had passed since my last post, so did the progress of crimson ikat tunic. There were several important situation made sewing almost impossible, even simple blogging. Well, you know when priorities shift and you are obliged to do what is right. Although running my small business has been on top of the list, I just can't put aside people who are really close to me when they are in need of help. So, I dedicated my time to help them. That is how finishing the project got delayed.

Anyway, the crimson tunic is done. Phew, finally! See the picture below and compare the outfit with original fabric (in my last post). What do you think? Does the end result bear beauty same with the fabric once had?

I must catch up on sewing (related to my online store and personal project) and blogging fasting in the past weeks. For the store, I have set next project to finish: another ikat. For you who haven't visited my store, you have to know that current listed are 6 pieces of batik tunic and 2 pieces of ikat tunic. So I want to add more ikat to complement the whole collection, and am therefore planning to have this as the material.[]
